Course Plan
During the course we will talk about:
1. What is affordable (social) housing and who is it for ?
2. Who is responsible for delivering housing?
3. How is affordable housing paid for?
4. What is 'Planning' in the UK?
5. How do we make sure housing is safe and comfortable?
6. Private (open mareket) housing development
7. Jargon and myths
We will also have plenty of time for discussion about anything that is relevant to the subject, the idea of this training is for attendees to find out things that they want or need to understand. The trainer has many years of experience in delivering all tyes of housing and recognises that there is a whole language associated with it. The purpose of the course is to explain jargon, debunk myths and create a friendly environment for all the 'stupid questions' we're afraid to ask.
